Builder Sales Group/Windermere Real Estate announced last week that the Tacoma condominium community of Allenmore East has sold the last of its 30 luxury homes. The community is located adjacent to the Elks Allenmore Golf Course.

Allenmore East was built by MC Construction Consultants, the same developer of Kaiser Place in Olympia and Hawthorne Hills in downtown Tacoma. Mike Cohen, president of MC Construction noted,

“We are very pleased with the strong interest these homes generated. It confirmed what we already knew: there remains a strong demand for high quality luxury housing in downtown Tacoma.”

Barbara Allen, president of BSG/WRE, added,

“Our sales success speaks to the quality craftsmanship and superior finishes and amenities of the homes. We were delighted to be a part of the sales and marketing team and thrilled by the quick sell-out. We look forward to future collaborations with MC Construction.”

MC Construction is currently in the final planning of a high-end 70 unit condominium community located in the Thea Foss neighborhood of Tacoma. Preliminary plans are for three residential towers built atop parking, office, retail and the Pioneer Museum of Motorcycles. The museum could eventually occupy 10,000 square feet of the ground floor space.

Additional features of the community include a 24 slip marina, upscale meeting and conference rooms and a waterside esplanade along the length of the project. Construction on Tacoma Bay Marina will begin later this year.

A waiting list has already begun for these homes. Interested parties can contact Katie Buchan at 425/460-4423.
